UrbanRevive (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
Content you provide: saved properties and notes, watched areas, community reports, uploaded images for image search, and feedback messages.
Technical information: IP address (used for security, such as blocking repeated failed logins), browser type and basic usage logs.
2. How we use your information
To create and secure your account, provide platform features (saved lists, alerts, image search), respond to feedback, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Property data
Property records shown on UrbanRevive come from public records and open-data sources. Owner names may appear because they are part of official public records. If you believe a record about you is inaccurate, please contact the original government source and let us know.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use only essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your cookie-notice choice. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, map tiles, AI image analysis for features you choose to use), or when required by law. Uploaded images used for image search are processed to identify building features.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, secure http-only session cookies, login-attempt limits and browser security headers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from your Profile page; this removes your account, saved properties, notes, watched areas, alerts, image projects and community reports. Feedback you sent is kept without your name or email.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Contact us to make a request.
9. Children
UrbanRevive is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
